Dashboards & Data Visualitzation

Data visualization is an information and data graphic representation. By using visual elements, such as graphs and maps, data visualization offers an accessible way to detect and understand trends, outliers, and patterns in the data. In the era of big data, tools and data visualization technology are essential to analyze massive amounts of information and make decisions based on data.

Data based decisions

Advantages of using dashboards

They provide autonomy: In a client-agency relationship, it is not a surprise that the responsibility for attracting new clients lies with the agency, since this is what performs most of the work.

Using dashboards to measure success gives autonomy and control over the results of the work being done, at any time, without the need for reporting.

Promote bilateral communication: By having access to a personalized dashboard with the main KPIs, you can review your metrics at any time and in any place, facilitating bilateral communication.

This saves a lot of time in meetings; having real-time data allows more time to focus on the business

They generate trust and spirit of collaboration: By having access to a dashboard it is possible that someone from the team can make connections that you, as an agency, could not establish due to the particularities of the business. With data transparency, greater trust and collaboration emerges.

Real-time decisions: A dashboard, when implemented correctly, is the most efficient way to centralize reports, as it allows you to track multiple data sources and analyze the performance of your business units.

Real-time monitoring is one of the great advantages of using dashboards, since it reduces the analysis time and the long line of communication that previously affected decisions.

We represent your metrics

How do we work with data visualization with dashboards?

Currently, companies are increasingly considering the visualization of data for decision making.

The use of data visualization tools in the business environment allows analysts to detect trends, correct deviations and investigate with different data sets to predict behaviors.

Visualizing information easily and quickly, identifying where we need to focus our efforts, makes our actions more effective is crucial in the digital age.

Although initially Big Data is a concept born in multinationals, any company, regardless of its size, can apply it to its scale, to improve its business results.

Today there are several tools that allow us to cross information from different channels, the main difference is in the level of complexity of its configuration, if the tool is more complex it gives us more options and requires more learning and technical knowledge.

We can help you integrate all your data sources and synchronize them.

We design and implement Dashboards so that you can make good business decisions based on data regardless of your position within the company.

Customized data visualization

How should a good dashboard be?

  • Correct KPIs: We must choose those metrics that make sense and really add value to our objectives and allow us to make data-based decisions.

  • Visual: It must have a clean and tidy design, which allows us to understand at a glance the data shown.

  • Actionable: It must allow visualizing, contextualizing and comparing data so that we can establish useful assessments.

  • Custom: A dashboard cannot be standard for all business models and digital strategies. On the contrary, we must elaborate it according to our objectives.

To measure the success of our business we must establish the correct KPIs and define a methodology that allows us to visualize and monitor the achievement of the objectives.

And without a doubt, the dashboard is one of the tools that will help you monitor your digital strategy.

Our method

How do we design your dashboard?

1- Let’s capture your goal: First, let’s start with your goal. Think of yourself or your team: what is the main objective you are trying to achieve? Maybe you are in the support department and need to respond to customer requests within the first 48 hours. Your goal would be to “respond to requests on time.” Maybe you are in a marketing team and want to increase your web traffic by 5%.

2- We identify your audience: Another important step is to define the audience to which the dashboard will be intended. Manager? The team? The CEO? This is one of the most common mistakes. You cannot simply have a marketing dashboard, since the CEO will be interested in KPIs very different from those of your maketing manager. Selecting an audience for each dashboard is key to aligning it with the objectives that are different for each role or department.

3-We define your metrics: Now we come to one of the most important steps: think about KPIs. We find it useful to think of two categories of metrics: performance and main.

Performance metrics generally reflect results and are often common or family metrics (for example, “income”). The complicated thing about these metrics is that they are often very difficult to address directly.

Then there are the main metrics. They are usually more difficult to measure and reflect contributions rather than results. The main metrics are often specific to companies, so you’ll have to reflect on them.
